La Galerie Allen est heureuse de présenter une exposition personnelle de l’artiste français Emmanuel Van der Meulen (1972, vit et travaille à Paris).
Accrochées à la lisière du plafond, trois peintures sur toile libre déroulent leurs dimensions monumentales jusqu’au plancher de la galerie, sur lequel elles courent encore, s’avançant de quelques centimètres à nos pieds. Isolés, trois tableaux rayonnent à hauteur de regard. Différentes variations circulaires inscrites au sein de l’espace pictural rectangulaire, vertical, marquent une forme de permanence visuelle entre ces oeuvres, dévoilées pour la première fois en France à l’occasion de "Facta Non Verba", l’exposition personnelle d’Emmanuel Van der Meulen à la Galerie Allen.

Galerie Allen is pleased to present a solo exhibition by French artist Emmanuel Van der Meulen (1972, lives and works in Paris).
Suspended from the gallery ceiling, three unstretched canvas paintings let their monumental surfaces flow down to the gallery floor, onto which they spread further still. Opposite, isolated on a wall, three paintings shine forth at eye level, and commands our attention. Diverse circular variations, inscribed within the vertical rectangular pictorial space establish a form of visual continuity between these works.
